How visualization is used

  1. Run or replay an operational scenario.
  2. Inspect routes, timing, resource conflicts, and fleet behavior.
  3. Identify a pattern or failure mode.
  4. Form a testable hypothesis.
  5. Run a controlled comparison and measure the outcome.
  6. Refine the model or solution method.

Aggregate performance measures remain essential, but they can conceal the operational mechanism that produced a result. Interactive inspection helps connect those measures to the behavior of individual agents and the system as a whole.

Open research practice

Public repositories and demonstrations are documented with licenses, examples, benchmark instances, and reproducible experiments when those materials are available. Publication records link to citable releases rather than treating a live demonstration as a substitute for a research output.
